How to Replace a Worn Jockey Wheel Bearing for Silent Shifting
A noisy rear derailleur can make a well-maintained bike sound rough. Recognise A Failing Jockey Wheel Bearing

Clean the pulley body and inspect the bearing seat. Rust marks, oval holes or cracks mean the pulley should be replaced. If the wheel turns smoothly but the bearing is merely dry, a light service may be possible for some non-sealed designs. Press In The New Bearing
For a removable cartridge bearing, support the jockey wheel evenly around the bearing seat. A vice with flat sockets works well: one socket supports the pulley, while another socket contacts only the outer race of the new bearing. Press slowly and squarely. Never push on the inner race when installing a bearing into a pulley, because that can damage the bearing internally.
Clean the bore before installation and apply a very thin film of grease to the contact surface. Align the new bearing with the seat, then press until it is fully home. If the bearing stops before reaching its shoulder, remove it and check for a burr or trapped dirt. Do not tighten the pulley bolt to force the bearing into position.
Reinstall the original spacers and seals in the same order shown in your photos. On a complete pulley set, check the markings or arrows. Set Up Silent Shifting
Thread the chain around the pulley teeth exactly as it was fitted originally. Check that it passes through the cage without touching the derailleur plates. A chain trapped outside the pulley will make a loud grinding noise and can damage the cage as soon as you pedal.
Turn the cranks by hand and shift through every rear sprocket. Watch the guide pulley from behind. It should track beneath each sprocket without wobbling, rubbing or moving in sudden jumps. If shifting is slow, inspect cable tension, the derailleur hanger and the chain before blaming the new bearing. A jockey wheel replacement does not correct a bent hanger or a stretched cable.
For a final check, ride gently around the block before taking the bike onto a longer route.
